Terms & Conditions for KW Courtesy Car Program

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. Requests that do not meet these requirements may be rejected.

Eligibility requirements

  • The vehicle must be a European-specification Cadillac, Corvette or Camaro sold in Europe by an Authorized Dealer.
  • The vehicle must currently be covered by GM’s New Vehicle Limited Warranty, and repairs must be carried out by an Authorized Repairer in Europe.
  • If the vehicle has been transported to the Authorized Repairer by the local Roadside Assistance (RSA) provider, a courtesy car must first be requested from that provider.
  • Any vehicle transported to your facility must undergo an initial inspection within 24 hours of arrival, and a Repair Order must be opened within that time.
  • The required part or repair must be covered by GM’s New Vehicle Limited Warranty.

Parts orders and courtesy car requests

The dealer must order the required part from KW Parts without delay.

If the part is out of stock and the vehicle qualifies as VOR (Vehicle Off Road), the dealer must place the order and promptly submit the Courtesy Car Request Form. This opens a KW Parts Courtesy Car Case.

A vehicle qualifies as VOR if any of the following applies:

  1. The vehicle cannot be driven because the required replacement part is unavailable.
  2. The vehicle can be driven, but the required replacement part is necessary for safe operation.
  3. The vehicle does not meet legal requirements because the required replacement part is unavailable.

Approval and reimbursement

If KW Parts approves the courtesy car request, a confirmation number will be issued. This number must be retained and included in any claim for reimbursement of rental costs.

  • Rental costs will be reimbursed at the actual cost, up to a maximum of EUR 50 per day and EUR 250 per week.
  • Coverage begins on day 4 and continues until one day after the required parts are delivered, subject to a maximum coverage period of 30 days.
  • The courtesy car provided must be a GM vehicle.
