ACDelco Silver (Advantage) Disc Brake Pad Sets are a quality, high value alternative for General Motors vehicles as well as most makes and models and are backed by General Motors. These brake pads are formulated using traditional friction material integrated with iron or steel fibers, increasing durability. Semi-Metallic brake pads readily handle higher temepratures and dissipate heat from the brake rotor surface, reducing brake fade. Noise and vibration concerns are reduced by chamfering and/or slotting in the fiction material, along with use of specialized backing plate shims. Noise-dampening hardware kits are included when applicable.
