Certain MDS solenoids have plastic housings and low-grade O-rings that fail in extreme heat. This Dorman OE FIX solution upgrades the plastic housing to aluminum and adds premium, compression-tested O-rings to prevent premature failures. Upgraded design - this MDS solenoid replaces the original plastic housing with full aluminum construction for greater durability Complete assembly - solenoid includes new gasket and mounting bolt for a complete repair Application specific - made to directly replace the original MDS solenoid on certain Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep applications from 2005 to 2009 Quality engineering - designed in the United States and backed by decades of automotive aftermarket experience
