The Rislone Gear Repair is a treatment additive for use with vehicle, heavy, agricultural, marine and industrial equipment oils. Designed to mix with all synthetic and conventional petroleum GL-4, GL-5, MT-1 gear oil classes including 75W-90, 80W-90, 75W-140, 85W-140 and all others. Extends the life of the system by stopping leaks, reducing noise and improving gear performance. Superior anti-wear, anti-foam and anti-corrosion. Works in all manual gearboxes, differentials, open and posi shafts and more. Stops rack, shaft, exit shaft and other seal leaks. Reduces grinding, whining, clunking and protects the gears. Added in case of: leakage or as protection in transmission fluids. Used as a top-up in existing fluid or in conjunction with an oil change. Features: Transmission additive for protection and problem solving. - Extreme Pressure EP / Anti-wear AW additives provide excellent metal-to-metal wear protection, reducing friction and gear temperature. - Friction modifiers complement EP / AW additives to reduce noise and wear. - Performance booster with adhesive properties to keep oil on gears and bearings where it can better lubricate, especially under higher loads and temperatures. - Seal conditioner to stop and prevent future leaks. - Pour Point Depressant allows product to flow even at low temperatures. - Reconditions worn systems and fluids. Provides better performance to systems with advanced age and longer service life / mileage. - Works on differentials (LS Limited Slip, posi, open, electric), gears (hypoid, spindle, worm, rack), transfer case (AWD, 4WD, gear oil), standard manual transmission (transmission, engine oil), hubs, marine and more.mission (transmission, engine oil), hubs, marine and more Dosage: Prevention: 100mL for each liter in the system. Normal dosage: 150mL per liter. Problem solving / wear: 175mL per liter. Larger systems: One 500mL bottle treats up to 3 liters of oil. Can be added to existing low fluid levels or when changing the oil. Results are immediate, or noticeable within 150 kilometers or two days of driving. If leaks or noises continue, a second application may be required or mechanical attention may be needed.
